WRK,
When i say he will retire "a loser" i am refering to the fact that he will not leave the sport on top.....i.e winning the title in his departing year.
Shoie should have run when the going was good.....perhaps this year may only prove that shoie isnt the great driver everyone claims and how his ferrari and their exploiting ways had more to do with him winning then his ability. But who knows what his new 2005 will do for him.....GULP.....
.....there is nothing better then retiring from a sport on top.....unbeaten!!!
Should there be a new champ this year the talk will be how this driver took shoie down. Hence the "loser".....I mean how good does he think he can have it......if he left on top it would be hard to say that he was beatable......this year could well prove that machine is greater then driver in this sport of F1.
I'm not 100% sure but i think shoie said he would sooner leave then go back to performances of when he first joined ferrari....i.e running 3rd or 4th and collecting the scraps.
Fingers crossed that the red 2005 is a hiroshima screamer (a bomb).
