Alpha Tauri AT03

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

It is a pushrod rear - yes.
that's a big news!
in the render was pull right?
Yes it was. They hid loads of stuff in the render, just like some other teams did
So RBR went pull rod front and AT developed their own front suspension but its a good guess that AT took Gbox and rear suspension from RBR, if so I bet the suspension dept of Mclaren are sighing a huge sigh of relief that they might not be completely crazy, this and the alfa.

So we have:

Pushrod/pushrod - Alfa/Alpha

Pushrod/Pullrod - Mercedes/Ferrari/Haas/Williams/Aston/Alpine

Pullrod/Pushrod - McLaren/Red Bull(?)

Pretty good reg change just for the reset alone.

Oh. I sooooo hope that the AT is faster than the RBR, just to watch in internal drama...🤣

Pierre, we think you really deserve that promotion to RB. And yeah, Max did touch that rear wing some months ago... really must be penalized...

Tunnel view from the sides… The sidepods undercut allow a very nice view of the Tunnels shape

Airbox area/engine cover is way thicker than this year's Alpine, more like the 2021 Alpine.

Everything I’ve seen so far about this car today confirms to me that this could be a podium challenger, on the odd occasion.
The detailing and the philosophy is exquisite!
