ALMS round 2 is not bradcasted LIVE by MotorsTV (as promised  ) either.

I'm looking for the link to view abc feed on the web.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the race starts at 17:20 GMT.

 No TV coverage! The ACO has really hit the bottom... Imagine the position of teams facing their sponsors!

"sorry guy, nobody will whatch the cars. Oh wait! A few Football and Atlethism fans will whatch them for two minutes on Eurosport! Great deal! Can we sign for next year? Guys! Hey, why are you leaving!?..."

EDIT: live timming for Catalunya:http://www.lemans-series.com/data/cours ... s/lmsr.htm

You can add Monteiro, confirmed for LM with Oreca and probably in the car at Spa.

I fear there will be no tv broadcast for Spa next week end either! Motors tv's lms section is displaying "no planned difusion" message. Hopefully there will be some live streaming from the track (like last year). Let's agree that the first of us to spot an mms link or conventional streaming source posts it here ASAP!

Of course.

I changed the thread title... as it's more about how to watch (A)LMS rather than racing itself. Unfortunately.

MotorsTV have switched to all-year-silly-season mode with dirt bikes and AussieV8 filling most of their schedule this year. I think they didn't show a single proper car race live since Sebring!
Looks like Eurosport is to broadcast 30mins at the beginning (the start?) and the final(?) hour. RLM will be commenting the race of course.

psst! I found something:
http://www. race-rally.be/2009/1000km2009/multimedia/silverlight/live/default.aspx

I'll be putting gaps in the links just in case ACO is as evil as FIA :?

Yes, thank you! I bookmarked that link.

Last year the streaming from the track was quite good, there was no tv speakers, but comments from the official commentators on the track were perfectly audible and in french, which made my life easyer. There's always Radio Le Mans anyway for comprehensive english commentary.

As for live timing, it should be accessible from:

Does anyone get anything other than a blue screen on the RR.be streaming?!

I watched the start on eurosport player and I must confess I've never seen such a mockery of a coverage in my whole life. By the end of lap three they said goodbye and the streming was over (but the three lap coverage included a two minutes addvertisment break!)... =D> Eurosport... What an incredibly professional channel!

If anyone has a working link for a valid streaming source, I can't strees enough how gratefull I'd be to him to post it soon. [-o<

Eurosport display the race raw (without comments)on the player (but you have to pay for that). Combined with the live timming and RLM it is OK. But the race isn't that much interesting. There have been LOTS of incidents for LOTS of teams, which makes it look more like an emilination race than a real fight. A Pescarolo is totalled, a Pug had serious mechanical problems apparently, Aston drivers just keep making mistakes and Senna's Oreca lost a wheel earlier...

I've seen lots of GT spins also.

I wish RLM had some background sounds, screaming eongines and such.

Eurosport came back to LMS... and gosh... that's a lot of adverts  And that's how we'll watch 24h du Mans in a month #-o

Someone on Eurosport mentioned 7 liter V10 of the Lambo. Which one??

OMFG! Bruno Senna binned his car.

---! I didn't see the crash (seems it wasn't filmed, like Wurz's one last year), but that car is totally destroyed!

Senna seems to be suffering at the leg, I hope he's not really hurt.

Very bad news for the Oreca team, they now have three weeks to build another car. Right now there's an interview of Hugues de Chaunac and he say Brunno apparently isn't hurt, but he don't know yet what happened.
