Accoring to Corriere della Sera, The Spec B car(There is almost no sidepod) Mercedes will be bringing to the Bahrain test is predicted to be over a second quicker(at the simulator) than the car they used in the Barcelona test.

I really can not see any car being obviously dominant, even if it is. Several 'officials' have more or less said if someone is, they will be slapped down, so it may be a case of winding it up until only just quick enough. Keep the rest in hand and out of sight.

It's not really no sidepods - more like ultra minimal sidepods.... there's still an air intake on the side presumably feeding radiators.

I think people had to be pretty naive to interpret it literally as 'no sidepods'. Most people would've expected extremely minimal design and that's pretty much what it is

Wonder if they will paint the pinstripe on the front wheel deflectors red/yellow for the two drivers ... it was red in Barcelona and is the same yellow as the t cam now.
