Poor Daniel hope he has a speedy recovery!
Let’s hope the team get those new parts early in the morning tomorrow! Then we have a whole day of long runs to look forward too.
Yeah terrible luck, McLaren need his car feedback as well before the first race. Hopefully he recovers in time.djos wrote: ↑12 Mar 2022, 01:00That really sucks, what rotten timing!SmallSoldier wrote: ↑11 Mar 2022, 20:38Daniel tested positive for Covid, but should be able to be back with the team for the first race next weekend

McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo has tested positive for COVID-19 but the Australian will be out of isolation in time for next week's Bahrain season-opener, the Formula 1 team said on Friday.

I've been with this team since 1997, we had up's and downs (more downs obviously) so if you are a fan of Mclaren believe it in and hang on!Emag wrote: ↑11 Mar 2022, 17:04Somewhat irrelevant, but McLaren is apparently the only team that opposed Haas having an extra testing session.
Even on a normal situation I would say that's petty, but given how things are going, it's so much worse. I would be humiliated. It looks like they are scared of Haas overtaking them ...
What a f*king disaster this has been. Everything I have read about McLaren since this test started has progressively angered me.
It's now borderline "weekend-ruining" levels of anger. The sh!t that's been going on is so depressing.
Horrible.
Lando was not using DRS and just did a bunch of laps so I guess maybe simulating a shorter race stint.runningmanz wrote: ↑12 Mar 2022, 10:28Though the car looked quite stable on those last few laps with Lando. Jolyon Palmer said its windier out there today too so bodes well for us I reckon.
I’ve been a Mclaren and Williams fan (sue me, I can like 2 teams if I want) since 1985 when formula 1 first came to my home town of Adelaide (I was 10) and captured my imagination!mclaren111 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2022, 10:22bauc wrote: ↑11 Mar 2022, 17:09Stop spreading bad vibes man, we all want the best for the team, stop crying, put a brave face and face your fears....
