Tire temperature sensor or floor deflection sensor etc etc. In short, it's likely a sensor, not some kind of air outlet.

Yes. They also add some downforce performance, even if there is no separation.

Reminds me of 2007.

It should help running the car ever lower, but we don't know if it was a feature of the car from day one if we are honest.

It's really hard to see any differences between the old and new diffuser. Maybe I am just being blind.

There is no horizontal flaps on the lower part of the diffuser.

Pretty smart.. There is a recatangular shaped carbon "horn" connected to the brake air inlet. i guess this helps blow out hot air inside the cake tin.
