The car is bouncing, the team isn't. This is the team thread. The car thread is over there.

The car thread is for technical things. Reporting "the car is bouncing" 10 times per session is not technical to be honest

The team thread is for anything to do with the team, of which the car is part of. So it does seem to be appropriate to talk about the car here should it not be technical?

Why has Lewis got the yellow t-cam this year? Normally he has had the black t-cam and Bottas has had the yellow one.

The yellow highlights, including t-cam colour, seem to match his new helmet design.

The car is bouncing so it should be discussed in the car thread. I don't see what's so difficult to understand about that.

I do agree about not needing to have several people just putting "car's bouncing" time after time.

Because the team chose to do it that way round.

Car threads have typically been for discussing hardware primarily, with performance relegated to the team thread. Gray area though.

The were some rumors today on a local TV station who said that Toto Wolf would leave for Aston Martin and Lewis Hamilton would have given his team the green light to discuss with Ferrari a switch for 2023 2025 in case Mercedes does not deliver a winning car.
Of course I struggle. I just don’t quit.

I don't see Hamilton going to Ferrari. More likely he'll retire and go off and do some of the other stuff he enjoys so much.

That would never happen with Papa Stroll at Aston and there is no attractiveness for Toto to go there anyway. He owns a third of this manufacturer team and he is the principal, he has everything he wants at Mercedes.

Toto owns 33% of the Mercedes F1 team. Lewis is 37, has already indicated he doesn't see himself doing this when he's 40, has a contract through 2023 and Ferrari has two great young drivers.

I don’t think Lewis and Ferrari would mesh well considering the openness Hamilton needs to perform well. Vettel has flourished since leaving the reds imo….

The car doesn't look too bad when compared to testing. It will definitely be in fight for first 2 rows
