With so little time to run a race sim is very likely each time ran 2 different fuel loads to simulate 1st and 2nd stint. Plus Ferrari did only 2 laps with LEC so there's not much to read in that data.

The numbers are with Soft tyres.
Do you believe that they will run soft tyres at any stint? I suppose they will go for M-H/H-M.

The numbers are with Soft tyres.
Do you believe that they will run soft tyres at any stint? I suppose they will go for M-H/H-M.

during the test degredation was more or less similar on all tyres, and most teams (Ferrari as well) saved Softs today - so I would say yes.

Finally after years i see ray of hope. Hoping for ferrari pole today and good fight between Lecrec and verstappen in race.

I hope no fight between both drivers. They need to focus on beating Max woth strategy. They can do it even with a slightly slower car.

One thing i question though is if they are a top team operationally. Now they have a top car, do they have top strategy and pit stop execution?
Ferrari have made some bad calls and bad stops in the recent past.

Yeah i agree, they have lost 2 championship to bad pitwall and strategist. Redbull is pretty strong in that area. Lets hope they are within top 2 first, rest of things comes after. It would be good to win early races and build some lead, in season develooment war will be mega , specially if merc is behind.

When it comes to strategy I think there's a potential dilemma, Ferrari don't have a number 2 they can easily sacrifice for strategy like Perez in Abu Dhabi, neither Sainz nor Leclerc will want to do that, so I don't think they can use the pincer strategy to try and thwart Max

Not having a No.2 is good for strategy. You can try a 1 stopper with an aggressive 2 stopper with an undercut with the other & see if either sticks. That is the advantage of having 2 cars with with 2 decent drivers upfront.

2017 and 18 titles were lost for the team in part for not having clear number 1 and 2 drivers. In part, not fully. This relates to every race, if 2 drivers are taking points from each other every race, another team and driver take advantage of that.
