So Zhou has his time deleted? Why not Perez and Gasley in Q1?
They should. But did they cross limits in the best lap? Perez was in his first lap right?
Perez was clearly off the track.

Yeah, but it was a good 10mins before he set another lap, the previous lap should have been deleted in this time and there was no sign of that happening. We saw it live, and it was clear as day. The lap should have been removed within a minute or 2.
Yes, agree

For a disaster weekend, its not looking too bad for Merc, wonder how much time they will find it they get a proper fix for the porpoising.

Look at last year, several teams gained more by burning though pu than they did trying to conserve them!
It could be a good plan to aim to use five to six power units, perhaps? :)

Not disputing that. Just asking if it was consequential for moving on to Q2

So better not make it to Q2 instead of turning the PU up? Not saying it was the PU of course, as all the names teams have some aero/mechanical issues at the moment, but what you’re saying doesn’t make sense.
We'll see as the season progresses!

Mclaren going like they did bums me out.

Everyone acting like Haas’s pre DtS performance didn’t exist.

Agree, but I'm waiting to see what the deficit is after Q3. The porpoising is still a problem. Hopefully more time will come when the porpoising is solved.

Sorry, but those engines aren’t designed by a single person.

Irrelevant. Leave the track=deleted time. Or at least that’s what should have happened and did to Zhou.
