Looks like that new Red Bull engine isn't so great after all, 75% failure rate in the first race!
Thanks heaven the Mercedes is so great. #-o It's easier to improve on PU reliability than finding 5-6 tenths a lap, even under the new regs.
Lol no, It's way harder to fix a power unit issue than it is an aero issue in the current formula.

100% electrical problems - their red lights on the back were like crazy just before the distasters.

Leclerc was also saying on the radio that he had engine problems on the last lap.

Can't just be aero with all mercs trailing at the back and top speed down

I think this worked wonders for Mercedes. Essentially, they gain some time to work on their issues, RB are behind and Leclerc only 10 points ahead.

All those Youtube experts that made McLaren contenders...
I'm more amazed by experts who said race will be decided by reliability.

It is very easy for Mercedes to find more than a second per lap when they sort the bouncing!!

I'd much rather have a flaw to fix that will unlock a lot of speed than a serious PU reliability issue.

Oh wow yeah 75% failure how will they get on top of this issue ?

No, you can change/fix the unit for reliability, that is why they have reliability upgrades

Great first race. For RedBull, performance is there, just need to work on the reliability. Looks like electrical issues rather than mechanical so PU should be fine?!

Crazy, double PU failure
It’s 3 if you include Gasly.

Yeah, and they call Max fans toxic.

What an undeserved podium for Mercedes here, but it is what it is. It's a long season still.
Not anymore underserved then the WDC. Let it be said, others started the jibes towards me, I apologise to Mods for responding
Can't we just enjoy this season with bitterness and bickering of last season?

Reliability seriously an important part of succes. Good job by Ferrari, hat's off.

Im not sure where that comes from, the FIA had their say it's fact, RB didn't win the title, not bitterness from Merc fans it FIA fact.

Great win for Ferrari, amazing result for Merc. RB i have nothing to add.
