8-10 seem to be there place … like last year.

Hopefully Miami updates will help, but all the teams will progress this year
Yep I just don't see how Alpine can close the gap. They can bring upgrades, but so will the others. Winning in F1 is about starting from the front in the first race and then and just maintaining the gap. Look at Ferrari now.

Alpine need to start conceptual work for the A523 now.
Alpine is doing conceptual work for A523 from the moment all cars hit the track. Part of that work is to figure out which concept out there, works the best and offers the most. What ever work, or research they are doing for A522, it's going to be extremely important for A523 also.

Agreed, constant regs

Hoping for a quadruple DNF for RBR a SAT! Drive shaft problems apparently, again.

Alpine definitely seems more competitive here than in Bahrain - I guess their car works better on the low downforce track?

Great quali result for Alpine. Good to know that the new engine making competitive levels of power. The race pace in FP2 looked good as well.

It's a very respectable day for Alpine. In line with the expectations of an up and coming manufacturer team.
