Smart move would be for Ricciardo to be ready to let Lando through immediately.

RIC’s pace on the Hards was actually pretty good, of course it is comparing it with used Mediums on the guys in front of him, but mid 1:35’s wasn’t bad at all… That’s how he managed to get in front of NOR and STR even when he pitted in the regular window

Yeah, he was 15 seconds ahead of Stroll. Hopefully it works a bit better for us than Medium.

Pace is not horrible like last week, but the midfield is so tight that a tenth per lap makes a huge difference in position.

As a reference… Las Lap for RIC 1:35.2… OCO 1:35.2, BOT 1:35.5

FP2 longruns were quite accurate it seems. Generally lacking 3-4 tenths per lap to Alonso in the Alpine (depending on the situation we can match them at some stages though), and at most 1-2 tenths to AlphaTauri, but with the hards, the advantage has apparently swinged to McLaren against the AlphaTauri.
