Its just 2 races and its equal now between them lets wait more racesChanman141 wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:44Yeah great battles between Ocon and Alo. Ocon definitely has the upper hand in 2022, maybe Alonso's age is finally catching up?

No, Fernando was the much better driver in this race, Ocon sucks, this guy seems nice outside the track but he's not as a teammate, expect fire behind the pit this time.Chanman141 wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:44Yeah great battles between Ocon and Alo. I agree with Fouad. Alo was faster and pulled away.fouad1979 wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:44No Alonso was faster than Ocon and the Alpine was faster in race trim not few laps before the endChanman141 wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:24I'm not sure if it's clearly the 4th fastest, NOR is pressuring OCON
Ocon is proving to be a really good driver. He put the lap together in qualify but he didn't have as good a balance in the race as Alonso. He's far from "sucks".draghixa wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:48No, Fernando was the much better driver in this race, Ocon sucks, this guy seems nice outside the track but he's not as a teammate, expect fire behind the pit this time.Chanman141 wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:44Yeah great battles between Ocon and Alo. I mean his character as a teammate, ask Perez .diffuser wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:51Ocon is proving to be a really good driver. What are you on about? Alonso was faster. Ocon is a dirty teammate who shoved Alonso into wall almost took them both out because he couldn’t accept Alonso was faster and ruined Alonso’s chances of fighting Russell for p5.Chanman141 wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:44Yeah great battles between Ocon and Alo. Ocon almost caused a red bull Baku type incident when he knew Alonso was faster. He’s a dirty driver to his own teammate when Alonso was always fair with him like in Bahrain. I’m still fuming but what goes around comes around so I’m not worried as long alpine can fix reliability on Alonso’s side and keep getting closer to the top 3.Alonso Fan wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 21:03Really pleased with today despite alonsos failure. Car has the pace in hand, alo was saving tyres and recharging engine and then closed up mighty quick to Magnussen and was around 6 seconds behind ham when his engine died. Not too concerned about reliability, better than Honda still and bottas and ric also stopped at the same time as alo. Could also be alo fault by not cooling engine enough. Very happy and optimistic we can be p4 this year
I agree with you. Alonso was faster and could have fought with Russel.RedNEO wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 21:01What are you on about? Alonso was faster. Alonso will not forget this after he let Ocon passed in Bahrain like a true team player. Also poorly handled by alpine to allow Alonso to lose time fighting ocon.
I hope Alonso has used his bad luck because honestly two engines with problems in two races is unacceptable. Especially when ocon has no engine problems.
That was a mistake from the team they lost in 10 laps 10s to Russel why fighting so hard in the beginning if it was at the end for sure but at the start no
I don’t get why that mode reduces Alonso’s pace to basically nothing so he has to stop anyway or why his engine was even hot when he wasn’t exactly on anyones gearbox.diffuser wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 20:49I agree with Fouad. There was a "cool engine" on Alonso's steering wheel. Before it turned off.
Ah don't be too harsh on him. He knew he messed up and said it on the radio to the team after bottas overtook him. He'll learn from it. I don't think we had the pace for Russel anywayRedNEO wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 21:08Ocon almost caused a red bull Baku type incident when he new Alonso was faster. Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Hopefully they'll talk about it with the team and make sure that doesn't happen again. Aside from that I think it was ok. Well, aside from the fact that it didn't make the team faster during those laps.RedNEO wrote: ↑27 Mar 2022, 21:08Ocon almost caused a red bull Baku type incident when he new Alonso was faster.
