You can't compete with factory teams. Factory teams have satellites, twice as much time in the wind tunnel, sfd
They aren't allowed to share CFD or Wind Tunnel data with "junior" teams! They are only allowed to share spec parts on the allowed parts for sale list. They also have less CFD and WT time due to finishing higher in the WDC in previous seasons!

Seriously dude, you need to brush up on the rules!
Stop believing in Santa Claus. Don't believe everything they write.
Rules are rules mate, and they are being very heavily policed!

Pretty early I would say for Lando to already be in second PU… Hopefully not a sign of reliability problems:

Sounds like there won't be a McLaren Audi deal

The full article suggests that McLaren may be looking to work with BMW instead. First I've heard BMW be mentioned
BMW was mentioned at the start when rumours about VW emerged, but it fizzled out quickly. Aparently they werent out at all.
McLaren showed little interest in selling his racing team. With the boom of the premier class, the shares of the Formula 1 teams are becoming worth more every day. Also, an improved offer did not bring the two companies together, although McLaren Automotive urgently needs a strong partner to meet the challenges of the hybrid age. As can be heard, talks are now underway with BMW at this level.

Mate, I've been an F1 fan since 1986 so I know the sport very well - Money is no longer the God it once was. Yes, you need the facilities to be state of the art, but now you have strict limits on CFD/WT use and Spending. This is not the 90's - 2010's when he who spent the most usually won!

This is a very alarming sign, the Mercedes engine not only does not impress with power, it also has reliability problems. After the departure of Cowall, the Mercedes engine division is clearly losing ground. #-o

Most teams bring new PU’s into the “pool” of PU’s well before they need to replace an old PU.

New motors are taken only by those who have real problems with them, Tsunoda, Alonso are those who could not finish the last race. It makes no sense to take a new motor just like that, at the third Grand Prix. The smoky Vettel engine is a clear confirmation of Mercedes' problems.

Nearly a second made in the 2-3 low speed corners, alarming. It seems like no matter what they do, the regulation or years that go by, they’re unable to solve the low speed and front end issues.

Are you sure the last race was bad because of the engine deficit?

Not only that, but it's clear that all Mercedes teams have top speed issues.

This exactly. We still have a hideous deficit there. Car just doesn’t want to turn in. The apex speed is woeful. Sure, high speed the car works but it’s comparatively dog-like in slow speed
