So does McLaren. Three weeks ago they qualified P13 and P18. Now P4 and P7.

Unless we get a decent upgrade we will likely struggle at the next GP too, enjoy this one. It is pretty much flat out and high speed, it's the best track for our car besides imola.

The car is the same, it is the track that is playing to us. Although it is possible they have unlocked some setup understanding but I think it is the track.

Big well done to the team - RBR, Ferrari, and Alonso probably had the edge so P6&7 is net pace but with circumstances Lando did very well to steal 4th with Sainz and Alonso out of contention.

This is more like what testing looked like- I hope what Bahrain has done is galvanised and energised a microscopic focus on weaknesses that when improved, merge with what was actually a better car than first thought and puts us up the grid.

Sure the circuit does suit more than others but it’s a hell of an effort in 3 races- very well done.

Definitely a good improvement this weekend. It’sa shame Daniel couldn’t improve as his 2nd to last run was faster than Lando’s .

Last lap on new softs was a dud. Don't know if he had traffic or made some sort of a mistake.
