How bout here, that winglet's traling edge going towards or away from the upright?

See, you can argue with me, fine, but you can't argue with physical evidence.

So that flow vis in the Ferrari diffuser, it's not going outwards? It looks like it's outwashing, especially at the top of the diffuser. Are my eyes deceiving me and is that actually inwash?
Of course you could conclude that. However, what you also notice is that there is a whole part that isn't covered.

What you might also notice is flow that is nearly flowing back to itself, as well as the vast majority of the flow painting the sidewall.

You are drawing your conclusion on the small top edge of the diffuser

Don't believe your lying eyes  3 cars 3 different attempts to create outwash with the diffuser within the regulations with flowvis to boot, but yeah. Fake internet points = correct around here I guess.
There's no real outwash going on. The diffuser walls are straight, and actually tuck inwards at the base.

Diffuser designed for outwash looks like this:

That sort of curvature of the walls is no longer allowed.

Look how wide the diffuser is relative to the brake ducts.

Very nice picture of the MCL36 rear brake ducts… Notice the exit of the hot air coming from the ducts and the intended direction of the hot air.

Also the winglets on the assembly

Not sure what you were expecting, Imola isn't a low DF track. When the DRS is enabled that Flap does open you know. The lower part of the Rear wing, the leading edge is raise a bit in comparison to the middle and that cuts the amout of air it will scoop. I'm sure they can change the angle ever so slightly and change the amount of DF/drag it will create.

I never questioned their choice of rear wing, I was just asking if they have used the same rear wing for the last four races….
