It has something to do with the Mercedes team but it went on a tangent.Airshifter wrote: ↑05 May 2022, 05:28Something that has nothing to do with the Mercedes team, but more about what Lewis and others think about diversity within the sport.
It should all be split off into another subject IMHO.
The no-pods was already a gamble. So further gambling would be par the course.ringo wrote: ↑06 May 2022, 03:55Anyhow i think the topic is relevant to the team and the sport and this team is doing something positive.
Additionally it seems they found some breakthrough on the issues with the car but they havent mentioned details.
Will they gamble on a solution since they have limited resources?
But was it a gamble? They had CFD, wind tunnel and sim/7 post rig data and feedback to base designing the no-pods on. Terribly unfortunate that the simulated data didn’t correlate to on track in the real world but I don’t see it as being anymore of a gamble than what the other 9 teams did just because those have a more ‘conventional’ sidepod design.AR3-GP wrote: ↑06 May 2022, 04:58The no-pods was already a gamble.
