That is not a Skate

The Skate should touch the ground when the car bottoms, skate along the ground (like ice skating boots), largely preventing the car floor from touching the ground and/or the plank wearing out.

Yes, it is a metal plate. As I said, I am literally conveying a message, but as I said, you're free to tell the team(s) they're wrong.

Maybe you guys are just not seeing it. It's a small ... skate, literally. Look at other angles maybe and you can't miss it then.
We all see it, but it cannot perform the function of a Skate, there are parts of the floor that are closer to the ground. A skate will be the first thing to touch the ground.
One day AI might be able to fix the W13 zero pod concept !

Still the floor looks rudimentary comapred to some of the other teams. No cuts, no coutout flaps, no undulation...

Rear wing and beam wing are just circuit-specific parts, not really an "update". Front wing endplates are instead a small update, in my opinion. Not really anything that will fix the fundamental problems of the car, which still need to be fully understood.

Not the forum for you then. This is a technical forum where every detailed is pored over. Even the weave direction of the carbon fibre is analysed.

Is that allowed, I thought the elements had to join the endplate? :?: :)

That design with a free-edge will obviously generate a stronger vortex, but I thought the rules were intended to prevent that?

There is no free edge, there are two metal joints
