The Race quote that the new package was on DR car for 2nd practice so all was not lost when Lando went wide.

I'm at the circuit and my less than professional photographs seem to back that up (at least for the obvious sidepods anyway!)

According to team stream that was indeed the case. Clearly no performance running. Just understanding tyres and the package from RICs side. Let’s hope that’s enough. Team seems cautiously optimistic. RIC mentioning “inside top 10 once they’ve done their work”. Eg with top 6 places potentially spoken for and Alpine looking quick I’d say we are with them for best of the rest. Perhaps the green red bull is there too

We haven’t taken new ICE this week have we?

Mercedes (Toto) saying to Sky today that the PU department have made a step. Presumably reliability that allows them to run the engine higher.

Not yesterday. But the two Mercs had new.

They were most probably running very high fuel levels to test the new brakes properly... [-o< [-o<

Chassis change for Lando, seems that hit in FP2 was harder than first thought.

Hopefully that does not stop both cars running with the full updates. I wonder if we will have the new engine in today?

Roll on FP3.

One of Lando's few mistakes this year...

Nice view of Sidepod undercut...

I'm not seeing any progress from the new upgrade. I want to see some quick laps to see where the upgrades stand.

Geez man. Just have some faith in the process. They’re clearly nailing down the setup and dialling in the package. No need to chase anything until they’re happy with it

The bone will come in qualifying. They are still working on the setup at the moment.

And don't expect miracles from the update package. A lot of teams brought stuff here, so it wouldnt be too surprising if the order remains unchanged.
