So Ricc ups his pace like everyone tells him to and then we strategise him like some second rate rookie. No wonder his confidence is shot in this team.

Pathetic strategy today and it is very rare you hear me be critical of the team.

Very disappointing.
I think the plan was to go as long as possible, safety car could change things and he’d be on the medium at the end while those around are on worn hards.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Letting Daniel past would not have changed a thing. He would have been stuck behind Alonso and then gobbled up by Gasly all the same. McLaren need clean air to make any sort of impression.

Daniel has absolutely zero ground to complain, he is now for all intense purposes lando‘s little minion.

If he had shown some more ice over the last 30 races , he might not find himself in such a crap position.
Only has himself to blame

I’m actually more worried by the fact in previous interviews we’ve said there’s not anything fundamentally wrong with this years car.

It looks - rather conclusively-pretty draggy at this stage!!

Don't tell me Lando Norris is now slower than the Williams?
He is not, but they can't overtake for sh*t with that sort of straight line performance.

Thank god they passed that Williams. Now let's see if they manage to get Stroll next.

Oh here we go again, same old DR hate from the same person.

How can he possibly be to blame today?

He can’t win with some people can he? He’s off the pace, he’s rubbish, he’s on the pace- we still have to criticise.

Goodness me. Some objectivity would be nice sometimes.

Lando should count himself incredibly lucky that team orders saved him both in Australia and here.

Couple of overtakes for Lando down into turn 3, gives a hope for points yet.

The team should let Daniel pass and should never put Mediums on Norris from the start.

Daniel is doing such a good job today keeping those tyres running.

They don't have a crystal ball telling them how the race was gonna pan out. The people that pit on vsc are at a disadvantage at the end of the race, or they go for the two stop. That's what helped McLaren.

On a normal race, they would have gotten at most 1 or 2 points. Now they have the chance to fight for more.

Remains to be seen. Is Norris going till the end? He should be able to.

Ricciardo might go for mediums after.

Nice Bottas out of the way. Onward to Magnussen.

Splitting the strategy was the right thing to do, but the drivers should be free to race & probably Lando should have been told not to defend

If McLaren can 1 stop and early stoppers have to Pit it will be a good double result

Ric has defo been the faster driver today, but that may be due to strategy, either ways, both cars have showed relative good pace to midfield, despite the weakness in Quali & top speed

In the meantime pray for Ocon to keep Magnussen for one more lap. Norris is catching up fast.

Nevermind. I brought him bad luck.
