Crofty and Ted discussing Ferrari taking a extra PU and back of the grid, by introducing a 2nd power unit into a race weekend.

Sure thats not allowed?
would need to check the rules again to say for sure, but I think that's only a problem when you already got a penalty for the first one (then you only get one engine added to the pool instead of two). This way it should be fine.

What happened with the Ferrari in the pit exit? Missed it.
Not much. It was not that close but Ferrari pulled out in Mclaren path.

You can't take 5 "penalty engines" in one event anymore, only the last one remains in the pool.

The thing is Ferrari introduced ICE 3 for Leclerc today, that's not a penalty, it's part of his normal allocation.
Then they'll take engine 4 tommorow which is gonna be a penalty and remain in his pool for future use.

Before that with the burn outs? After the pit exit line.

How much 'use' do you have to put on a new PU before you can take another in 1 weekend?

Im not 100% but im sure I seen something recently about taking 2 engines over a weekend, unless that is 2 'penalty' engines

The Aston Martin seems to actually have quite soft suspension. I just saw a shot of it braking into T1 and it was really bouncing gently over the bumps in the track.

You just have to fire it up.
You can take multiple "penalty engines", but only the last one will remain in your pool, this is a special situation because engine 3 isn't a penalty engine.

What Ferrari is (suppousedly) about to do has already been done by Alpine and Alonso in the Spanish GP this season, move on.

I wonder how much time is gained by the soft tyre over the medium? They do look quite quick. It's embarrasing for Mercedes if Aston is genuinely faster on a much smaller spend.

It's about 4 tenths between medium and soft here
