Unfortunately the problem did not let Lando continue. Fingers crossed for Danny Ric to be as high as possible.

Landos on the back foot here. PU issue😒
Let’s hope he can get a lap in
He needed the warm up laps and to get in a rhythm, he was always going to be knocked out when he didn’t join the queue to leave the pit lane. Onwards and upwards in the race hopefully

It's a pity. That drag must be fixed immediately as quick as possible. Mclaren should not be losing from midfield teams. He should have been able to eat them for breakfast and target the first 3.

This time I have to criticise the whole team. The car is draggy as hell and not able to compete even in mixed conditions compared to last year.

If it was easy, everyone would do it!

Tough day but the points are handed out tomorrow and I think there's a lot of racing to come yet...

Daniel isnt known as a wet weather driver as Ver, Sai, Ham etc is Norris was excellent in changeable conditions last year so not sure where he would have gotten if he didnt have PU issue but it very much looked like the team was a bit lost in setup tyres just werent there.

Strongly agree. Not only did we not manage to make the jump to catch the best, but we made the car worse in its strong points. The car is crap and today it was shown with both Daniel and Lando going off the track. It doesn't go straight, it doesn't go in the water, it doesn't go well anywhere. The season is going to be very long and I'm already very tired...

Shame for lando with the PU problem, decent job for the remaining car , at least we don’t have an Aston Martin or alpha tauri in Front of us this time round.

What a joke of a comment!

The car is excellent In low speed mechanical grip corners, you seem to have keenly overlooked that.
You also need to remember where we are as a team, if you’ve ever had the pleasure of taking a tour of the MTC, you’ll know it’s an amazing facility but Milton Keynes or brackley it is not. Considering the pitfalls faced by our PU manufacturer , I think we’ve done decently well to maintain 4th through this transition

Mixed feelings for me today. Obviously as a team result you gotta be a bit disappointed with how things panned out. A shame we couldn't get a bit more out of it on these mixed conditions.

On the other hand, Fernando has always been my favorite driver ever since I started following the sport, so I was glad to see him competitive today. Brought back memories.

Tell me about it- been doing it for sometime now.

I honestly thought Mclaren would do better today, seemingly having a tad more downforce than the other midfielders and Lando in one of the cars- I thought we could have done what Alonso has done but it wasn’t too be.
I am kind of hopeful for tomorrow for a change, I think a few drivers have qualified ahead of Mclaren today who aren’t quicker than the Mclarens in dry race pace mode🤞🏻
