This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Fantastic work from Alonso all weekend so far, he’s a top class talent and the sport would benefit enormously from him being back in the front mix more often!

Yes! What a driver! Those laps today, fantastic. I held my breath more than once seeing him attack the final corner oh my.
Honda fan here, and despite what happened with Alonso at Mclaren-Honda, I’m happy to see that Alonso is on the front row. Of course I hope Max wins, but I do hope that Alonso finishes on the podium. He has shown he still has the speed and his mindset and approach to F1 this time around has made him a humble and appreciative driver. He had to sacrifice and endure a lot of sh!tbox cars back then so I hope he’s able to score a trophy for the Alpine team.
Hmm I think he will fall back in the race. He was able to get temperature in the tyres really fast compared to the others. We saw how well Aston got it right in practice 3 and just lost their edge in qualy. Let's see if Alpine is genuinely quick over the long runs.

Otmar said their long runs were as good as Ferrari's.
That would mean enstone did a really good job this year. The car has shown flashes of pace in qualifying this season. It also runs somewhere ahead, or a little behind mclaren and mercedes depending on the nature of the circuit, but it's genuinely a good car. The radiator inlet upgrades seem to have given it a few tenths.
The renault unit is also a success. I cannot recall them having much PU issues either and the power seems in line with the other brands.
Alonso said sidepods in Baku and some bits for the rear wing in Canada were the upgrades. They are excelling in Sector 3 which should help him defending on the two straights.
Given that they have kept it competitive in other parts of the lap I’d say the rear wing upgrade looks like a potential success story
