Formula One's most successful team, Scuderia Ferrari have unveiled their brand-new machine, the F1-75 with which the Italian outfit's young driver pair of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will race in the sport's 73rd season.
A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
But will Ferrari lose there cornering prowess going to this rear wing. In Canada Charles lack traction out of the corners with this lower downforce rear wing.
Maybe with new floor they will increase df with lower ride height and so they can decrease df from rear wing.
They said the traction issue was ERS related, nothing to do with the rear wing. Supposedly they changed the mapping for max end of straight speed - rather than earlier in the acceleration phase coming out of corners:

Good video about the Upgrades Ferrari(and RBR and Mercedes)are introducing at Silverstone:
Where are all these claims coming from? This is a whole lot of very specific claims that are seemingly coming from nowhere and not reported by any reputable sources that I can tell. Ferrari will have a whole new gearbox, for example? Or Ferrari are saying that Red Bull are gonna gain 3 tenths a lap through more lightening(wasn't RB already supposed to be near the weight limit finally?). No mention of any sources for any of these things. Never even heard of this Youtube channel before.

This is a well known channel. And even scuderiafans publish the informations and their video. So there seem to be some truth in it. Anyway - you probably got a lot of things wrong. There is no word of Ferrari bringing a whole new gearbox...actually they were explaining what Ferraris changes to the gearbox for 2022.
Anyway - here the link where scuderiafans published it:
Weren't Ferrari going to introduce slimmer sidepods in this race? These mirror tweaks are not going to bring them back into contention i fear.
There is no need for them to be brought back to contention. They have the fastest car even in race pace since Barcelona. And Ferrari never wanted to introduce slimmer sidepods(the was only the word of very minor tweaks, as their sidepods work very well). At least i have never heard anything like that.

Yeah watched a few videos a couple months ago, he makes a lot of assumptions with not much evidence.
