New centerline cooling indeed

Quite impressive update. Will be interesting to see its influence on performance. Especially since this update means Mercedes will now be the one and only team sticking to a "micro/zeropod"-concept, what makes it obvious that this concept, like i said several times since February, is just the totally wrong way to go with the new regulary.Moctecus wrote: ↑30 Jun 2022, 19:38Another perspective (via The Race):

Must have been a legal challenge or FIA clarification. Regardless there wasnt much going with that concept.SimonFW11b wrote: ↑01 Jul 2022, 07:33It's a shame the car never raced with its side-pod vents open. I wonder if because flawed concept or legal challenge.
Maybe their tiny sidepods required it, because they needed a bit more force to push the air through the inside of the car? Now they got more space inside the pods, which should make it easier to guide the air through them.JordanMugen wrote: ↑01 Jul 2022, 00:51I wonder why Williams decided on those larger radiator intakes in the first place, if they are now able to slim the intakes down significantly?
I wonder when the last time was a team fielded two cars that looked so different!Owen.C93 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2022, 19:51There's a hint to how the airflow has changed when you look at the angle of the floor stay fixing between both cars.
