It is but I don't see Lando getting close enough for a pass. That start today was crucial. If Lando was in front of Alonso I believe he would have been in front today. I'm not sure if he will be able to beat Alonso today unless Alonso does a mistake.

Alonso is playing strategy to kill Norris's tyres. It seems that Norris's tyres are starting to lose ground.

Danny Ric is starting to be under threat again by Ocon. I'm not sure if Lando can get Alonso today. However if Danny finishes in front of Ocon then the difference won't change and Mclaren will still be 4th.

This Ferrari team however are never gonna be champions if they keep racing like that.

All I can say is that if Daniel finishes in front of Ocon then Mclaren will keep their 4th place but I have a feeling he won't.

If Daniel keeps Ocon behind then expect Ocon's tyres to start dropping like Alonso tried to do with Norris before.

Lap 18 was earliest window for a 1 stopper, was it one or 2 laps earlier?

Sainz hards were already struggling when he pitted but it may be that if you expect the other teams to stay out then you will stay out.

Then from 6th to 16 the cars are too close because of the safety car, so will anyone risk dropping behind?

It's very far from optimal but the closeness of the middle pack may prevent further pits.
