Why didn't Daniel complete his last lap? He is again a long way off Norris.
Good job from Lando Norris again. That is the fastest the car can go compared to the first 3.
Maybe he made a mistake and aborted the lap, like Lando did at the end of Q2.
Edit: yeah he was losing the rear on his last lap
Lando aborted q2 because he was told to, to save the tyres for first run q3
He made a mistake through a twisty section and lost too much time, that’s why he was told to abort the lap. The Sky broadcast I watched showed a replay of it.

ahh I see, in q2 he was up around a 7-8 tenths on his previous q2 time before he made the mistake though
only 1 new set of both mediums and hards available for both drivers. Heard yesterday some teams were saying the 2 stop is ideal, is the team going to try a one stop?

yep, and their tyres were graining within 3-4 laps...
Ricciardo is doing ok so far though he lost two places at the start but recovered one. Let's see if he can get both Alonso and Ocon. Curious to see how much Lando Norris can manage with these softs against Hamilton and the two Red Bulls.
Actually the softs are dying. Not sure how much more he can hold those behind.
