Unfortunately he won't hold more than a lap.

I’m surprised how much Daniel is dropping from Alonso… He is 5.7 seconds behind already

Lando is losing a lot of time. He will be passed by both Alpines at this point. He has to pit.

Not sure why they started on the softs knowing from F2 how much degradation there was. Dropping off like a rock at the moment.

Both Lando and Dan's last few laps were in the 1:27.s suffering much worse than other soft tyre runners.

Pitted in to traffic, can't see Lando getting ahead of the Alpines without some wet weather.

We shal see what happens. Somehow the pit crew screwed again and they have to work that out. Mclaren has had enough of those kind of problems with sticky tyres.

It was the wrong strategy. They had the pace on the Alpines but the softs dropped heavily. And they didn't even react on time with that. Disaster class of a strategy so far. They let Lando lose a 5s gap to the Alpines before pitting him ...

Might have gotten away with it, traffic parted fairly quickly.

They pitted as early as they could have tbh.

Softs was to ensure that they had a good getaway on a track that is hard to overtake… There is rain expected, so hoping for a Soft - Medium - Intermediate / Wet?

Lando’s pace isn’t bad at all with the Mediums… Keeping up with Perez in terms of moving through traffic

Alonso forced to early 1 stop to cover Daniel. He needs to clear him ASAP.
