It is the most coherent project among those seen so far. I propose 1 additional point for those who have the bravery to show the projections of the CAD model, floor included, as you did.spacehead3 wrote: ↑01 Aug 2022, 13:56Well, I'm about ready to submit so, here you go:

I imagine by now a lot of you have found this:

Unfortunately this new "official" version has lost a good chunk of performance from what I had in that post. Very curious to see how it stacks up against you all!
Thanks. Personally, I would be in favor of Andre posting the full mflow reports for all the submissions. For all of the hard work that we put into these, we really don't get to see too many details of each others designs. And besides, seeing what someone else has done, and actually copying it and making it work on your own car are two very different things.
I would prefer a compromise: to show more than we use to do in MVRC (more or less as you did), considering that in real (let's say "physical") races, there are many possibilities to see the cars details, but not chances too see the post processing of cfd simulations of other teams.spacehead3 wrote: ↑01 Aug 2022, 18:02Thanks. Mate, you made me freak out. The deadline is yet to be hit.
Super! It looks like the most refined car so far.spacehead3 wrote: ↑01 Aug 2022, 13:56Well, I'm about ready to submit so, here you go:

Well this is what I was checking because the original deadline was 24:00 on Sunday. Which is either 00:00 of Sunday or 23:59:59 of Sunday.variante wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 07:38Interesting cars, everybody. I'm always fascinated by the many sidepods layouts that can be created.

The original deadline was sunday evening (as usual), but the mail titled "DELAYED!" talked about two days of delay.
I just loaded my STLs into paraview with a strip of floor I extruded and enabled ray tracing surprisingly effective way of getting (kinda)nice rendersG-raph wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022, 00:48There are some impressive cars and renders around here!
I was pretty pleased with myself until I finally managed to run some (unrefined) CFD! I could fix a couple of obvious issues but the numbers are still quite depressing, and I don't think I'll hit the cooling target.
Good luck everyone! Here is my first ever MVRC entry, apologies for the poor rendering.

Interesting that I haven't receive any email, probably my team hasn't registered successfully. Anyway my car is not ready to be submitted tonight. In this regards, AFAIR there was an option last season, that gives the chance to be used once for the whole season for later sending of the stl files. Is it still available for this season and how much time it will give?
