This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
The tidbit that they had to depower the car is interesting. Lines up with some media reports that Mercedes have been running the PU in a conservation mode for the first half of the season.
I don’t think he’s referring to the PU, but rather the floor. It’s been reported earlier this year that they’ve effectively had to take off downforce from the floor to stop the porpoising.
That’s probably why they aren’t as competitive through fast corners (as seen in France or Hungary), but have a more stable, nimble car under braking and through slower corners.
Exactly, they've increased the volume of the throat of the floor among other things to 'de-power it'
He is a real ground breaker of what was cast in the "professional era" of F1. Really bring things back to the carefree days of pre-Schumacher - well almost.
That was a really interesting read. Normally I am not interested in these kinds of interviews, but this one really dives into how Lewis thinks. It is pretty inspiring too knowing now what he went through to get this success.

When he retires he has some bombshells on key people in F1 and organisations which he said he will NOT reveal until he finishes all forms of racing. He said he will only reveal these in his book/film. So wait for that beat seller

I'm most interested with what went between him and Alonso and Rosberg. Mostly Rosberg though.
They seem to be slowly fixing their friendship though, so that's good.
Ahh gpblog, the Dutch site with headlines, articles and almost entire comment sections that are so biased you'd have to wonder if Jos Verstappen himself was managing it.
If you guys do visit this site, I recommend you stay well away from the comment section.
Political Corectness, pro-women activism, #WeRaceAsOne... Nothing like "the carefree days of pre-Schumacher"
I don't see the problem of equal rights for all, or why it would offend people of certain sensibilities.
I'm not saying that it would/should offend anyone, I'm saying that LH is far more cautious and attentive in a good way than anyone in "the carefree days of pre-Schumacher" (Piquet and his "Negrito" comments... )

Yeah, it's like Breitbart or MSNBC, but for Verstappen. I try not to click on any links from that site.
