What is interesting and to keep in mind is that what you think you see is only about 10% from eye input, the brain does the rest.

A step towards further synthesising new materials:

Toyota Research Institute (TRI) and Northwestern University are collaborating to help accelerate new materials discovery, design and development with the world’s first nanomaterial “data factory.”
Fuel cell catalysts first.

As this forum is a platform for shared discussion it has achieved a great deal of learning, that is the asset of group engagement.
This following general talk highlights the dynamics and position of this important mechanism.
I was going to say "to those of the closed threads and moderators" but prudently I wont

This is part of a series that discusses energy in relation to net zero
This is a subject of its own with qualifications...
This part focuses on transport and gives some general perspective, the whole series gives a larger view.
This leads to the question: where does motor racing fit into all this?
If it is not to be just Big boys and their Toys, it has to have relevance and this is why the future of F1 has its necessary trend, IMO
It is made by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

From The Institution of Structural Engineers:
At about the 8 minute mark they get around to the idea, fairly smart IMO

Apparently gold has just been discovered in Iceland.
It was found in ejected material from a volcano vent.

Yes but it doesnt show the size and they postulate it was jewelery thrown in...
Genuine but the origin or cause who knows, watch this space
What is fascinating is the creation of all the other elements from hydrogen

originally posted this on the new engine thread, but decided it was off topic. It is a way of using 'waste heat'.
I was thinking indirectly via exhaust or cooling.
It could possibly be the basis of real H recovery.

As an aside, in one of the pictures it shows the battery pack in a post and rail subframe which I thought is so passe, but maybe it is required for safety regulations as they stand??. The new Hennesy (piston powered) has an 86 kg monocoque!
