I don't think Daniel is willing to give up his seat for free, otherwise he'd probably already be out. As for Piastri, if Alpine just give him to McLaren now, he'll have more time to get to know the team and the car, so that's an advantage that Alpine would give their competitor for free. My guess is they'll probably put him in some sort of gardening leave, where he won't do much work for Alpine that can help him grow (unless it's guaranteed by contract), and let him leave for McLaren as late as they can.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑04 Sep 2022, 15:56So generally I'm curious.
