I've read somewhere else saying they have scope to give tge penalties and just move up everyone not penalised until its all set. Which is clearly to only logical decision.

These penalties seem mental. Make no sense at all.

Lando was less than half a tenth to making it onto the front row, after penalties, of course, good stuff!
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Yeah we look good in Italy but it's likely that Sainz, Verstappen and Perez will all get past us.

Let's hope for a bit of carnage at the start. There never seems to be any when the top 3 are starting at the back though.

:D

I was thinking the same, Verstappen's and Alonso Tangling would be very nice!

Alonso does tend to make rocket starts and appear where he is not expected.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

So many twitter arguments on the Max Verstappen penalty. It feels good to be on right side. 5 place pen should be 5 places no matter the other pens. (Unless on same position obviously)

To be fair to Christian Horner, he said directly after qually that Max was starting P7 and Checo P13, so they obviously knew how the procedure was meant to go. Not sure why the big delay.

So then, all papaya second row. Let's enjoy it while we can, lighting surely can't strike twice, right? Right!? [-o<

Lando was saying in my broadcast that McLaren is the team with less downforce. Based on all he said this year, it seems like he is _really_ frustrated with the car. Its a miracle that they're even close to Alpine.

It's either done really well for a terrible car. Lando is downplaying the car and building himself up, or it's just an OK car. Or maybe Alpine really should have done better

It seems the teams knew, but the keypad experts didn't. Shock. (I didn't but did think a 5 place penalty being 2 places didn't seem right)
