he didnt have launch map.. engineer told him before formation lap something is wrong, so he had to do a manual start

It's a waste of time and tiers. He has such a big pace advantage it's just not worth defending. He will get through eventually. Might as well let him past and keep to your race.

Why should he defend? Just do that he can ruin his tyres and let Alonso past as well. That doesn’t seem like a good idea

Lando does make a lot of mistakes today and I'm not sure how much he can recover due to the DRS train and that speed decifit. Good job from Daniel this time however. Let's hope he continues like that till the end.
