Lovely flowing Aragon FP1
After all the niceties of testing the 2023 bikes everyone is back on the plain vanilla 2022 bikes albeit with some chassis testing that didnt seem to yield much.
The silly commentators are raving about Marc Marquez being back and potentially back to his old form but forgetting that the Honda is not and therefore Marc cannot be back.
Most of the Dukes are 10kph up on everyone, didnt see the Aprilias speeds
Espargaro, A quickest followed by Bagnaia and Rins
Honda works camp didnt look happy with Marc indicating rear grip problems
Bastianini continues showing professionalism and maturity.
Quatararo and Mir both not happy campers , onwards and upwards to FP2 :D

Voila, Aragon FP3
Jack's back 1:46.992
Bagnaia
Bezzechi

and for entertainment go to 37 minutes to go and watch Senor Marc Marqez go 64 degrees and save it at T17
But wait there is more, at 22 minutes to go he doesnt! and was running to get a lift back nearly before the crashed bike came to rest!

Fabio crash provide a nice uncertainty to the title fight

I had never seen something similar to Marc incidents, first a slide causing Fabio accident, then some part of Fabio bike got stuck into Marc bike and when he activated holeshot mechanism the rear wheel got locked :o and caused Nakagami crash. Anycase it was nice to see him on the track again

Now Quartararo, Bagnaia and Espargaro are title fighters again! =D>

Yes Andres, in one shot that extra part put grooves in his tyre !
It is possible that this could trigger some renewed debate on the safety implications from broken pieces of aero parts.

Just starting to watch MotoGP, and want to say thanks to those who participate in this forum. Your insight is very helpful to new fans like me. Thank you.

Just finished watching the the Aragon race in Spain and wow, what a fantastic race. Watching Bastianini pass Bagnaia into first, then lose it, then come back and win it on the last friggin lap was outstanding! What race craft, patience, and cunning he displayed to pull that off! Amazing talent these guys!

The real competitiveness of so many in MotoGP makes it even more exciting in many ways than F1. I’ve been missing it not watching this series.
Watching F1 since 1986.

It is possible Marc Marquez could be using narrower rims than others for quite a while.
