New beam wing top element has a shorter chord indeed. The trailing edge of the older one would be located where the pink arrow is.

And this top element has a different angle of attack, somewhere between the med-hi DF spec (left) and the low drag spec (right)

The 3 versions of the RB-Style Alpine beam wing. The exhaust pipe has also been raised in Spa

According to Permane we should expect a new floor in Singapore. Sounds fairly drastic.

They’ve been impressive in rate of development.

The 'boat tail' sides have been sculpted in Silverstone or afterwards

So it's similar to the Haas boat tail now

I was just thinking that the drivers have been good at keeping the cars out of the walls and getting the cars back to the garage before retirements. We haven't had an opportunity to get pictures of the underneath of the floor in a while.

Keeping the cars out of the walls might help explain this rate of development; or at least it certainly doesn’t hurt

Interesting article. Alpine have plenty of upgrades to come and they don't need the use of the wind tunnel for the 2022 car. Wind tunnel fully allocated to 2023 car.
