McLaren MCL36

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Save the money and bring 2x updates for Lando and let Daniel finish with what he has now. Best play is to score higher with one car, and drive 2023 development 2x as fast.

I’m excited by the update. The fact they’re happy to change direction shows it’s not just foolish pride. Hopefully there is a step up in performance and L/D ratio

Just another, better angle.. shows the upper leading edge of the entrance is set back relative to the lower edge. Definitely following the red bull concept

Daniel getting the short end of the stick on this one! 😡
You need to calm down… they have done this with every package this year, Daniel had it first in France, they do back to backs to compare data… literally every team does this with a new package.

A/B comparison of the packaging in the old vs new sidepods. Looks like not much changed

either the outer edge of the bib floor plate bonds higher on the side wall of the front bib fence thing, or the bib fence leans at a canter

Confirmation that the second set of parts will be ready for Suzuka, and only Norris will receive it at Singapore. Makes sense to me.
