Field is crazy tight here. Shame for Daniel, he was looking good for a decent qually there.

Alpine seem to have one of those fast tracks for them. Maybe all in on qualifying though as expect race to be too wet.

Shame DR couldn't get top 10

Daniel didn't improve at all, when others were making decent improvements. That's a shame, but sums up hid time at McLaren, unfortunately.

3 milliseconds off Q1. Man that's frustrating. Been looking good this weekend.

That killed Landos lap. He went out on his new softs. Now has used for the last flying lap.

Kinda fell apart towards the end, both cars quicker than they ended up. Shame! Race paced looked decent, so good chance of progress tomorrow.

both laps in q3 for lando were on used... I think they are saving it for tomorrow, which I think is the right thing to do, considering could be a crossover if it rains tomorrow

edit: first was new softs

First run was on new softs. According to the team stream

10th and 11th, but in reality at best maybe we should have been 9th 10th. But it's pouring tomorrow isn't it? So no idea what will happen.

Seems Lando is angry. Which is understandable

While Max Verstappen is a very quick driver he behaves worse than Alonso. I'm not sure how much faster Lando could go but it's not the first time he costed us places and it's a pity. Did it happen on a flying lap?

Was just unfortunate timing on the outlaps, the Mclaren really needed to push for brake and tire warmup, and the Redbull needed a more gentle outlap…just unfortunate
