Both drivers are using the medium load wing this weekend. They both switched to it today. Checo had the high load wing only for yesterday.ispano6 wrote: ↑23 Oct 2022, 03:24Max and Checo are running different wing levels, perhaps with Checo's set up being more favorable for S3. The cooling track and wind would have also been slightly disadvantageous to Max's set up, but he seems pretty confident for race pace. The race will probably see a safety car of some sort and strategy will definitely come into play with tyre choice especially the last stint.
It didn't seem that way in Q1 from footage I saw. In any case, he isn't easing himself into form for no reason. He needs to finish in front of Leclerc and the best way is to start ahead of him. Hopefully he can finish ahead as well.
I was using sarcasm there, sorry . I was making a joke about Checo performing well again just in time for Mexico.
Their speed traps are identical. When Checo had the other wing yesterday, he was noticeably slower on the straights. That's not the case today. There are only 3 rear wings that RB have. Both cars had the middle one today (medium load).
They were not in Q. Checo switched back to high DF wing.AR3-GP wrote: ↑23 Oct 2022, 03:38Both drivers are using the medium load wing this weekend. They both switched to it today.
