So, we're all * agreed that Red Bull cheated and thus Max's titles are worthless? Yes? Cool.

* apart from Max's fans of course.
No more worthless than Lewis's six titles at Mercedes

Lewis and Merc fans giving out about 400,000 when Merc have been outspending teams by 40 to 100 million per year is the height of hypocrisy
You want to post the rules they broke?
I find it strange that you don’t even understand the concept of the budget cap.

in 2021, Merc broke the engine allocation rules multiple, multiple times. They knew the penalty and did it anyway.

So, you are admitting that Redbull wilfully broke the budget cap

You seem to have made up some words.

Merc were the ones to willfully break the rules last year as can be seen by their engine penalties.

RB have been cleared by the FIA of willfully breaking the budget cap.

Try keep it on topic F1 fans. It’s been a good discussion up to now but be a shame to see the thread locked again for the mods to have to clean up the posts that aren’t to topic.

No cost cap then, and if you can't afford it, it's your problem not your competitions!

F1 fans know that Red Bull cheated.

Trying to get the mods to lock the thread because you don't like reality is, well, piss poor. And if the mods do as you ask, then this forum is worth less than the budget cap.

Penalties, as laid out in the rules, were taken. Thus no one was illegal. Unlike Red Bull in 2021.

Straying back on/off topic, any speculation as to what Bernie would've done? Even money on the financial rules having a secret clause of pay $100 million and we'll forget all about it...

If they were really concerned about closer racing then it would've been simple to prohibit car upgrades if you've established a lead of more than X points at the top, or have scored X points in total in the last however many races... Artificial but arguably conducive to closing up the field.

Penailties were laid out in the budget cap as well, so you must think the same about Red Bull

Merc - intentional

RB - unintentional

If you read my post properly you will see that I dont want the thread to be locked. It would be nice for the thread to remain open and proper discussion without the insults or off topic stuff and sharp/pointy posts towards others.

It really doesnt bother me that RB spent 400k over the cap, whether they 'cheated', 'gained an advantage' - somehow' or what else goes on. You could pick out multiple things over the years regarding other teams that have done similar - however thats not the nature of the thread - therefore it should be discussed.

All teams played the PU numbers rules. All teams, including Red Bull. If Mercedes broke the rules then so did Red Bull.

Your point?

It's like equation stealing 10 pounds from a wallet is the same as defrauding someone of 5000 pounds. The principal may be the same but the scale prevents them being similar, no matter how much you'd like.
