Max had damage?
Wouldn't be surprised given how much his pace dropped off. There was even shots on the main straight where you could still see the Alpine debris on the track.
His laptimes went from 14.5-14.8 to 16.0-16.5 even before front wing damage (that was clumsy from max, oh well..), so there was almost certainly damage somewhere on the car.
Is this around the time that he lost half a second to George and brought him back into DRS range?

Either he had damages from the debries or mediums were very bad choice. He was talking about debris on the radio
But they'll have to use the mediums tomorrow regardless.

I don't think the tires were the problem. I think they've got a bad setup because of the limited free practice.
Other teams will also have to use mediums tomorrow. Today everyone except Verstappen and Latifi used softs

Max (and his team) were probably wise to use the tyres today not tomorrow as it it one point per position lost today v 25 - 18 -15 etc tomorrow.

Red Bull threw the sprint win away by choosing mediums. Maybe they are saving softs for the race? Gonna be a two-stopper at least judging by the sprint.
Also, can Red Bull fix Verstappen's car for the race?(i mean floor damage if he had any) Aren't the cars in parc ferme now?
I don't think the lack of pace had anything to do with the choice of mediums so it is a bit harsh to say that they threw it away picking mediums, as hitting debris is basically just luck when the FIA decide to just leave it on the track.

They should be able to replace the floor with a like for like part as long as they have one

in case anyone wondered how they got a car out of the way without a VSC for like the first time this season: Albon basically stopped on the parking lot ;)

Anyone any idea what the start infringements were?
Something related to Grid positioning.

I hope that FIA will decide in future to penalise drivers who cause red flags.

It is intriguing isn't it? Normally sprints kill the suspense, but I say this one has done the opposite. Why were the mediums so terrible? Or did he have damage?

Is there a case for awarding 'Bad Boy points' to drivers who could have parked safely and do not?
Collect a few and its a penalty?

Had a quick look on F1TV and Ham rolled back after the tyre covers were off. not sure whether this is the infringement? though as his start looked good too.

Yes, but it could also just be mercedes are very fast because perez on soft apart from 1 lap was going 4 tenths slower than Ver at this point.

Wasn't Perez behind someone at this point? Norris/Magnussen?

he saved mainly mediums, so I don't think it made much of a difference.

If my notes are correct (a bit difficult on sprint weekends) then this should be the current tyre situation:

One of the Alpine (apparently Ocon) caught fire after the race

He has 2 fresh soft sets to others' 1 which confers some advantage, but judging by merc's pace I'd say it's going to be a tough race either way
