Shockingly poor car performance in that sprint. RB will be praying there was damage because that was poor.

Flashbacks to Austria.

Ive never seen the RB look so numb all season. The car just didnt want to turn, I think its setup related.

As I suspected. Max will only get a podium if Ferrari throw in a strategy blunder.

Tire deg will be killer in the heat tomorrow. Car doesn't turn. No hope.

Now regarding the suspension travel at the back of the car, do you think that RB18 uses a dual spring suspension system, like the ones described in the video from the link below or your expertise is more aero related rather than mechanical?

I did not really pay enough attention to suspension systems this year. Dual spring rates seem to be a must for me, with almost everything else banned.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

I think its a bit of an overreaction to immediately compare this to Austria before the race. I think it is quite clear the pace was a result of the damage. He had fine pace on the mediums and was breaking the DRS in the first part of the sprint. There shouldn't be much to worry about if it is all damage related, which I believe it was, especially considering they are starting P3 and P4

What damage? We've not seen the reports. Perez was very slow as well.

It's being claimed that he might have hit Alonso's front wing remains....I certainly hope so....because tomorrow will be a massacre otherwise.

There was a radio message around the time of his battle with Russell where he said he ran over some debris. I don't know if that was before Russell closed the gap or not, but I find it hard to believe that Max was able to have decent pace in the Mediums compared to the softs and then they just drop off after 10 laps.

Nah, everything is wrapped up now. We just need to focus on Checo beating Charles in the standings.

I think its either a setup mishap or Max is doing some data gathering for next year, given the camera's on the front in FP1.

Yes. It is vital that Rb continue to demoralize the competition.

Nothing can change for BRR now, it is all about Merc v Ferrari (and Mclaren v Alpine etc which does not concern them)

Personally, I want RBR, Merc and Ferrari (and anyone interested in joining) fighting tooth and nail for every point.
And I mean gentlemen's fisticuffs, not a kick in the nuts when they are not looking.
