Nope, Daniel went forward and Lando went backwards.
One starts to wonder if some people understand basic principles of physics...
Lando lost most of his positions on the first lap and was only able to get past KMag’s Haas with a few laps to go. Daniel gained positions though the race.

So yeah, it is simple physics, Lando lost places from his qualifying position, and Daniel gained them.
So what sprint race were you watching exactly, because you wrote a lie right away. Secondly, how many Mercedes, Ferrari and RedBull cars Danny has passed? And third, he gained two positions due to Alpines deciding to do a demolition derby with each other.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Lando scored 2 points and he was again best of the rest, like he was so many times before this season, while Dannys good races can be counted with fingers from a single hand. And it aint even 5.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

We are in very good positions for the race. Lando can hold position and I hope Daniel manages to overtake a couple of cars and fight off the charging Alpines. We can enter Abu Dhabi with matchpoint if all goes well today. Excited for the race!

Think Alonso can catch Lando in the race. He was lapping 1 second a lap faster in the sprint.

Naturally, the PU needs to keep it together.

Just ignore it.. Obviously gaslighting
Even Lando said the car “felt terrible”, so yeah he had a bad race by his standards - how are my comments gaslighting?
a very selective quote again, I see. You forgot where he, immediately after that said, "but then i expect everybody's car did ... there was so little grip out there".

@djos :wink:

FYI:
Norris was so ill that he was exempted from the media obligations that drivers normally have. Before retiring, however, he did appear in front of Viaplay's camera, where he was asked if he was completely healthy again. "No, not at all," was the Briton's reply. "I was really struggling on the track. I'm not looking forward to the race at all. I feel weak, haven't eaten anything for two days, haven't drunk anything for almost a day. It's a real struggle."

Norris is very ill this weekend.

I think Vettel and Alonso are a threat today. Not sure about Ocon though

Daniel has two new sets of Softs after not making Q3, should certainly focus on a S-M-S

Lando will likely go M-S-M or S-M-M

Seems sensible. Daniel will then have the flexibility to go for M in the final stint should the deg prove to be higher enough to warrant it. A good opportunity is there for the team today in the battle with Alpine and they've usually capitalized on those this season. Let's hope for more of the same!

Lando needs to let the Ferraris go... can't afford to use up his tyres unfortunately
