Couldn't have had a worse race if you tried. On pace, 4th is not deserved this year anyway, and it's a bit of a stretch to expect them to get it purely on luck.
We have gone from 3rd in 2020, down to 4th in 2021 and now 5th in 2022.
Although when you look at it like that it's a bit polarizing, since 2021 was objectively a better season, it's still sad to see them fall backwards each year, when the expectations have obviously been different.

Mclaren have had a car good enough for 4th. They have a driver who will come 7th, basically best of the rest. Alas he has 80 points more then his team mate, whike Alpine are pretty close.
At this point I really think F1 has become a joke, bad stewarding, teams doing what they want, drivers who can’t race more than a single corners without crashing into each other and a fan base that couldn’t be less mature if it tried. I’m back to waiting for indycar to return
