Yea another impressive display from Alpine. All season they have had pace but nothing else to go with it.AR3-GP wrote: ↑13 Nov 2022, 18:41Alpine are very quick this weekend: Look at the sprint. Well clear of Mclaren. Alonso was on the pace of Perez and Leclerc!!
The fact that they didn't score points yesterday while food poisoning Norris finished 7th is simply embarrassing .

They were super fast this weekend. I think Alonso can get over anctious and times. It was a bone head move on the pass yesterday on his part but Ocon will just do anything to keep Alonso behind. Again, I don't get the penalty they gave him, he didn't punish himself enough ???? The 2023 Alpine will not look as impressive. Alonso is just on it week in, week out. Hopefully Gasley can lead the team cause Ocon looks to just be a solid number 2.
The worrying part is Gasly hasn't done anything special all year. Albon and Russell easily had more inspiring seasons driving a Williams.diffuser wrote: ↑14 Nov 2022, 04:13They were super fast this weekend. I think Alonso can get over anctious and times. If AMR get's the car together next year, Alonso will put it on the podium.
Not sure but the only corner that appeared to give Alpine/Alonso problems was turn 10. I don't think Alonso made the Apex more than a couple of times during the whole race. He struggled to get the car turned in that corner.
I'll give you that, I'll just add that the SAT car hasn't been too inspiring. We'll see how it turns out but I'll be a bigger AMR fan next year.AR3-GP wrote: ↑14 Nov 2022, 23:27The worrying part is Gasly hasn't done anything special all year. That's because they know they need to shut-down the nonsense that Ocon and Gasly will do next year before it even begins. It's far too late for this to be relevant to Ocon-Alonso.diffuser wrote: ↑15 Nov 2022, 17:11Took him long enough ! "Szafnauer's clear statement: "That won't happen again. We'll see, maybe they'll do the same thing as Otmar finally did and decide when they'll race and when they will not. Which is what makes sense.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑16 Nov 2022, 06:00once Alonso in AM, itis more difficult for him with Stroll JR compared to Ocon. NOt sure what he is going to do. only thing is get ahead of him Qualy every time to avoid collision.
Yeah they were fine with it when Ocon was putting Alonso into a wall all year but now with one race to go they suddenly realise this could be a bigger headache for them next year.. typical stuff lolAR3-GP wrote: ↑15 Nov 2022, 19:47That's because they know they need to shut-down the nonsense that Ocon and Gasly will do next year before it even begins. It just comes down to which drivers you can trust won’t play games with erratic movements at 300km down a straight.. Alonso knows which drivers fall under the ocon category so he will keep his distance with them.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑16 Nov 2022, 06:00once Alonso in AM, itis more difficult for him with Stroll JR compared to Ocon.
