It's Monday night.
And Binotto is still TP.

I am not saying that he is staying, but honestly why would Ferrari issue an official statement in AD and then humiliate themselves 2 weeks later?
At the end of the day, the team belongs to a public company.

For once, I will wait to see...

Sainz does ok here and there, but LEC is much better overall.

at austria sainz DNF
and what about his pace in Austria before the DNF? Wasn't he behind? Didn't he ruin his tires in the sprint at the expense of Leclerc's race, and then was slower anyway on sunday too?
sainz was controlling the pace all Austrian GP.
and leclerc was the dirty one at the qualy...

This is becoming more and more of a problem for Ferrari. If you are to believe what is being written, no one wants the job. There's a story out there that they went up and down the paddock at Abu Dhabi and everyone turned them down, including a lucrative offer to Horner that would basically ensure a comfortable retirement.

4 TDs in the last 9 years, allowing all these rumors to run without acknowledgement or denial; It's definitely not a good look. They'll end up having to convince Binotto to stay since they can't find a better replacement, and agree to his keeping everyone on the current staff, and with the same no clear #1 driver lineup. Eventually Charles will leave to Mercedes after Hamilton retires or to RB after Perez's contract is up.

Seems stupid. Most Ferrari thing ever. The season isn’t over and they still doing cock ups.

It seems he resigned, so Ferrari could not do much about it.

Ferrari have somehow let a super talent out of the door. Total madness.

Unless there is some genius in there that we are unaware of, this could set them back years.

As a Ferrari supporter I'm deeply disappointed. Epsecially if the strategy team remains. --- the management. To let him go, they must be lunatics. Absolute madness.

Impossible to know everything that's been going on for a while, but there were several very impactful events this season that Binotto could have handeled differently:

- not prioritizing Leclerc right after Australia
- allowing TD039 to pass in its final form without veto
- still allowing many team errors in the final races of the season after Monaco, Silverstone and Hungary catastrophes

I'm not sure if there is a TP that won't be more of the same, but obviously Management and Binotto agreed to part ways, so he also accepts he was not up to task.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Agree that at least for us that follows the sports FERRARI have somehow let a super talent out the door. but I am afraid that top team brass doesn't function on those lines of thinking.
