I do wonder how much a pull vs push rod suspension setup has on performance.
In terms of the dynamic behavior, there is no difference. Any type of dynamic rate solution you want to achieve with a pull rod can be achieved with a push rod.
What matters is how the position of the linkage (push or pull) influences other packaging and airflow around the brake ducts, floor, and diffuser.
In essence the "best one" is the one that is best suited to your aero concept. You can be certain that Mercedes picked the one that is best suited to their aero concept and likewise, Red Bull and Ferrari did the same.
It's the constructor/minion teams like Williams, Aston, Alpha, Haas who don't get to choose. They simply run whatever the factory runs regardless of how it suits their aero concept.
