Aw, come on. We all know that F1 is still the undisputed pinnacle at bending the rules. They can put the tyres on the roofs of motorhomes or anywhere else if they really want to.

there is space behind the wall you know
and what wall are you talking about in F1?

I know very well what they do in AOW since I worked for a team at one point.
I forgot that F1 goes strait to the garage. Image

either way there are lots of ways to warm a tire ^^

I already addressed Force India eating curry and farting on the tires... I dont think her farts could be much more effective than that

Okay, tastes differ, but the FIF1 crew doesn't look remotely as hot to me :?

I've reviewed the proposed 2010 regulations and found no mention of a change to 13 teams. No more than 12 teams are allowed for 2010. The 13 team story is bogus.

Is 26 the maximum amount of cars that raced a GP?

24 cars (12 teams) has been the maximum for years but recently there was talk of increasing this to 26 cars (13 teams). No rules have been altered as of yet.

You can take it to the bank that there will be 13 teams.

Where is there a mention of 13 teams? If it can be deemed safe to run 15 teams, why not?

Well he said that he wants more than 12 and they do not have many garages left beyond that, do they?

Garages? Is this what is limiting the number of cars on track? I believe Spa-Francorchamps has 70 individual garages (59 cars started is last years LeMans Series event).

I suspect the 24 car limit has more to do with quality control of the cars participating in F1.

You will find the WMSC decision for 26 cars in the last link I gave you. Monaco has the least number of garages and is probably the limiting factor.

Monaco has 30 FIA/F1 standardized garages.

I've been following F1 for more than 30 years and recall Max imposing the 24 car grid and the 107% rule to ensure only the best of the best could qualify for a race(which is the reason I started this thread).

You have said some other things that are hard to reconsile with the WMSC decision.

Indeed. Everyone makes mistakes. There's nothing in the proposed 2010 F1 regulations about 13 teams.
