if it conceptwise looked something similar to the new williams i would not be surprised, regarding sidepod design, the long undercut and sidepod shoulder

So excited to finally see the new car and knowing McLaren we will see the actual car, just without the important bits. There is one team that respect the fans!

Man, this whole production seems so much better done than the embarrassing RB reveal.

I was legitimately hyped up by the hype video.

Very nice launch yes, not too long, and they actually showed the real car

Unlike the Sports Drink Team our Mclaren has history behind. Mclaren is F1. So what do you think of the first car base?

Nice launch, though the livery leaves me entirely whelmed. As expected a continuation of last years livery which I grew to dislike more and more over the course of the season. I get that it's for weight saving reasons, but there's just way too much naked carbon fibre.

I expect same for Ferrari as they too would launch a base spec of actual 2023 car and not a dummy car with just livery, regarding Merc, cant really tell because they too havent done a launch with Fake car till date. After last years Redbull launch i didnt even bother watching their launch as its too boring i guess, McLaren launch was just done right with good insight to past and love for their fans, Thank you Papaya team you are the best.

So what do you think of the base car? Do we have comparisons to last year?

Some comparisons on the hardware MCL60 thread.

Sidepod detail looks intriguing - a hybrid of RBR and Ferrari style and intrigued to see how that compares to the competition when all teams hit the track.

Very interesting reference point later tonight when Aston Martin launch- to see what Dan Fallows does in comparison to James Key.

If it helps the car go faster… I couldn’t care if the car didn’t had a hint of color in it :)
