Very interesting hybrid of F1-75 and RB18 designs. Wouldn't be surprised if Ferrari goes similar way with SF-23, most of the rumours described something similar to this.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

But the AM ones seem to converge very fast towards the center of the car from this angle, while the A522B slides are straighter...
The new undercut style is similar to A522 too, medium length and very outwashy, almost turns at 90°, no wonder they have big floor edge wings in front of them

On the Ferrari neither the sidepod ridges or recesses descend all the way towards the floor.

Don't see that in the video presentation. The edge of the sidepod looks raised by about 2.5cm while the part close to the center is lower.

You can see the top of the sidepod is green but in the picture it to be black. Also the video, cuts away to the crowd when the camera starts to get to height that you can start seeing detail in there. In never returns.

Beautiful! I love it.

Same concept that all them, but pushed to the limit.

The cannon on the rear is a piece of art in carbon.

Dare i say that it’s gonna be draggy but with lots of downforce.

In the first picture i see what it seems a vortex generator on the “barge board” but i don’t see that in other photos

I would disagree. It looks far more like Alpine.

The trailing edge treatment of the Ferrari sidepod is very different. There is no ramp at all.

It's Alpine and AM who have the ramp sidepod, with the groove inside.

The Alpine was a midseason modification, probably a workaround with radiators that weren't really the best for this design, Aston is the concept fully realized.

The Alpine was a midseason modification, probably a workaround with radiators that weren't really the best for this design, Aston is the concept fully realized.
Alpine had the valley from the get go. The sidepod's valley got more pronounced and the sidepods got extended in the first or second race. Remember when Ocon lost a piece in free practice or quali and had to revert to the original sidepod for the race.

Those are some aggressive sidepods, similar concept to alpine but I would say better executed. I dont see any similarity to ferrari that is quite a different philiosphy

Theyre trying to squeeze quite a bit of high energy flow to the mid top section of the difuser and the beam wings compared to alpine, also placing the vents quite high ensure that the top of the side pod has higher energy (no vent exits), also prevents the risk of separation in that area given how steep it falls

there is a massive undercut on the fin/exhasut area as well, forming quite a nicely sculpted channel

You suggest that these deep, Ferrari like "canyons" are actually non-existent and animated only? Well, in that case its still a Red Bull-Ferrari Hybrid, but much but far less interesting. In fact, that's the aspect that makes the car interesting and in theory this concept would even be very promising I think. But if in fact it doesn't exist, the Aston Martin is just another Red Bull/Ferrari clone. And I can't remember any copy or clone that was ever better than the original...but I think what you can finally conclude here is that no team is even close to copying Mercedes and going in the direction of Zeropods. Which for me is another and final indication that this concept has no potential but is full of disadvantages.

I think one can see the valley in the real photos. As it is a negative feature, it is tricky, but I believe it's there.

AMR told us that they would show the real car.
